IN PERSON: Paper Sculpting with Dara Kane

  • Museum Address 100 Playland Parkway Rye, NY, 10580 (map)

Do you love making abstract creations? Do you ever wish you could make your art jump off the page and come to life? In this intro to collaging, children will learn how to break the plane of the paper to create movement in their art! Can they make paper bend, spiral, or spring up? What adhesives will work best to stick materials to the base support? We will offer a multitude of materials for these fun 3D creations. Many materials will be repurposed to raise children's environmental awareness and open their eyes to the creative possibilities that can be found in paper materials that otherwise might get discarded. This workshop is recommended for ages 4-7.

SPOTS ARE LIMITED - Register HERE.

Please note that all NYS mandated health & safety precautions will be followed, including social distancing, mask requirements, & increased and rigorous cleaning.
