Science Sunday: Chromatography 🌈

What is “Chromatography?” It literally means "color writing"  - think of the streaks and spread of ink on wet paper. Today we will be separating  a mixture of chemicals in liquid form and letting them creep slowly past each other on a solid support, in this case a piece of cloth. Each participant will take home their own Chromatography artwork!

Science Sunday is an exciting and dynamic lesson that reviews a new scientific concept each month, complete with hands-on activities, awesome experiments, and fun facts presented by our very own science educator! Sign ups begin when the Museum opens, and are limited to the first 10 children on a first come, first serve basis.

Included with admission, space limited to 10 participants.

TWO SESSIONS: 11:30am-12:15pm AND 1:30pm-2:15pm

Drop in for Science Sunday, every second and third Sunday of the month. Best for ages 7+
