Join Second Story Dance Project for a special choreographic children’s workshop called Watch, Do and Make Dance!  Students will warm up with professional dancers, watch the artists perform their latest works, learn portions of the dances, and, finally, create their own piece!

Second Story Dance Project, Riedel Dance Theater’s newest initiative, is a collective of seasoned dance professionals who, after starting families, have created a unique environment where they develop new works while simultaneously caring for their children. Called “creating while caregiving,” their groundbreaking approach enables dancers and choreographers to remain connected to their art while nurturing their families.
