Play Party Package (Basic)

Cost: $500 for Museum members / $600 for non-members  

  • Two hours of private party room

  • 25 children and their grown-up

  • Party facilitator

  • Museum playtime 

  • Stay & play (unlimited time for your guests at the Museum / day of the party)

Hands-On Workshops (Add-On) 

Add-On Cost: +$200 for both members & non-members

Led by your party facilitator, choose from our popular interactive workshops; each party guest takes home their creation. 

  • Silly Slime: Guests create non-toxic slime. (rec ages 3 and up)

  • Play-Doh: Guests have a blast molding, shaping, and sculpting their colorful designs. (rec ages 3 and up)

  • Paint Extravaganza: Guests create unique paint mixtures and pour them into a beautiful original design. (rec ages 3 and up)

  • Arts + Crafts: Guests become designers, creating and decorating royal crowns to celebrate any special event. (any age)

Times

  • Weekends: 9:30-11:30, 12-2, 2:30-4:30

  • Weekdays: 2:30-4:30

  • Email to ask about after-hours birthdays or buy-out of the Museum.

Need to Know

  • All packages include up to 25 friends and one adult per friend.

  • This is not a drop-off party.

Parking

  • Oct to April (or anytime Playland is closed): Parking is complimentary

  • May to Sept (or anytime Playland is open): $10/car; parking is in Playland’s lot. Playland charges $20-30 per car when it is open ~ from May to September, but the Museum has negotiated a discounted rate of $10/car for the birthday party package.

BIRTHDAY PARTY POLICY

  • If the Birthday Party is canceled before 30 days, there will be a full refund

  • If the Birthday Party is canceled between 7 days and 30 days before the party date, half the amount (50%) of the party is non-refundable

  • If the event is canceled within 7 days of the party date, the full amount of the party is non-refundable

  • Cancellations must be received in written form, either by email or regular mail, within the time frames mentioned above - the Event Captain will confirm cancellation via email and phone before issuing any applicable refunds.

  • WCM is not responsible for "Acts of God," including severe weather. In the case that the Birthday Party is canceled by WCM solely because the Premises cannot be used for the event in a manner acceptable for a Birthday Party, in its sole discretion and determination, the Birthday Party Host (the individual(s) who paid for the Party) will receive a full refund of all amounts paid to date within 5-10 business days of the cancellation. WCM will not be liable to any individual in the Party, their affiliates, or their guests for any expenses or damages incurred by and in relation to the Party if it is terminated or postponed for the above reason.
