The Westchester Children's Museum offers field trips aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, Common Core Math, and ELA learning standards. All Museum field trips, exhibits, and hands-on STEAM workshops are adaptable to honor and complement the ages and stages of child development from Preschool through 5th grade.

Research shows that children learn best when they are having fun, actively exploring their environments, and engaging in playful interactions with others. The Museum's educational philosophy results in a vibrant, interactive, playful learning space and experiences that nurture curiosity, enhance knowledge, and ignite imaginations.

The Museum Educator’s Guide (click here) includes all Field Trip & STEAM workshop details, plus an easy sign-up process if your school provides this opportunity to one class, one grade, or, ideally, your whole school.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to extend your school/classroom to your local children's Museum or have us bring an educational hands-on experience to you.
