The beautiful, shimmering abstract paintings of Westchester-based artist Michelle Sakhai are a perfect companion to the winter season. Sakhai uses gold and silver leaf in her work to bring glitter and shimmer to the Museum's Art Gallery. Each irridescent piece offers an optical illusion - you will see something different in the color and imagery no matter where you stand. 

Artist-led art workshops will introduce children to abstract art and provide opportunities to create their own works of art.
