IN PERSON: Museum Voyagers - Doc Harmon's Museum Medic

  • Museum Address 100 Playland Parkway Rye, NY, 10580 (map)

Do you find the human body fascinating? Are you curious how your lungs help you breathe and how your heart pumps blood? Doc Harmon needs you to report to the Museum Medic, STAT. In this immersive medical biology workshop, you’ll don a stethoscope and become a junior doctor, learning about the fascinating systems that work silently behind the scene 24/7 to keep our bodies in tip top shape! You’ll learn things you never knew about breathing when you make a working model of human lungs! You’ll see how your heart circulates blood to every part of your body. Shh... what’s that sound? Can you hear your own heart beating? Come and try it out! This workshop is for children 7 years old and up.

SPOTS ARE LIMITED - Register HERE.

Please note that all NYS mandated health & safety precautions will be followed, including social distancing, mask requirements, & increased and rigorous cleaning.

*This workshop is part of our new series, Museum Voyagers, where we take you on a trip to a transformed Museum space for an all-immersive learning extravaganza! Registration costs are higher to accomodate for the enhanced experience.
