How do people, animals and birds stay warm in the winter in their own unique ways? Join our weekly Exploring Play program to pretend to hibernate in a cave like a bear; storytime with a bear who can't fall asleep in winter, touch and sort real feathers; and use colorful feathers to make their own birds to take home.
Exploring Play, held on Friday mornings, is designed for children ages 2 to 4. Every month will feature a new theme brought to life for young children through creative and fun movement activities; song; story and a take home project for all. Parents and caregivers are provided with information on the latest developments in Play research for young children. Come join the fun!
