EXPLORING ART THROUGH THE ARTISTS

NEW SERIES!
Each month, we will travel around the world to explore past and current artists, their works, and unique styles. Our special program will include hands-on art making in the style of the featured artist. Expect a lot of color, imagination, and surprises as we create our own masterpieces!

OCTOBER FEATURED ARTIST: Kim McCormack
Kim McCormack, founder of Creative Curiosity, is a renowned artist and arts integration specialist working with school districts in Westchester, across the country through The Kennedy Center and around the world living in Bhutan. Her art is shown and collected internationally as well,  from printmaking,  to papermaking,  tapestry weaving,  jewelry designing as well as assemblage/collage.

During this workshop, you will discover the art of assemblage using images,  words and objects to tell a 3D visual story in a box ... a matchbox!

Come join us on Saturday, Oct 5th (11am-12.30pm and 1pm-2.30pm) to create your own shadow box!

All ages welcome, included with Museum admission.
