Our eyes are naturally drawn to things that sparkle or shine... did you know that those objects are likely made from metals? Join us on Sunday, Oct 13th for a sneak peak of National Chemistry Week to answer the question: What EXACTLY is a metal? We will make wacky magnetic slime, real batteries, and watch Science Educator Harmon make a spoon magically disappear with his mind... or is it just science?!
Science Sunday is an exciting and dynamic lesson that reviews a new scientific concept each month, complete with hands-on activities, awesome experiments, and fun facts presented by our very own science educator! Sign ups begin when the Museum opens, and are limited to the first 10 children on a first come, first serve basis.
Included with admission, space limited to 10 participants.
TWO SESSIONS: 11:30 AND 1:30
Drop in for Science Sunday, second Sunday of the month. Best for ages 7+
