There are 4 types of sea turtles that make their home in the Long Island Sound from May through November: Green Sea Turtles, Loggerhead Sea Turtles, Leatherback Sea Turtles and Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles. The Loggerhead Sea Turtle can weigh as much 250 pounds and live up to 70-80 years old! Let’s learn more about these beautiful creatures.
