STORYBOOK DANCE WORKSHOP

  • Museum Address 100 Playland Parkway Rye, NY, 10580 (map)

Do you ever wish you could jump into your favorite storybooks? Do you love to dance and express yourself?

The Storybook Dance program combines literacy and the love of reading, dance and creative expression for our young learners, ages 3-5 years old. Each session, participants will adventure into a story book and dance their way through the pages while learning fun, creative dance. They explore literature, music and dance in a fun and engaging way. Join us with your happy feet as we explore So Many Feet, by Nichole Mara.

MORE ON THE STEFFI NOSSEN SCHOOL OF DANCE: Steffi Nossen Method encourages students to express themselves through dance. The Steffi Nossen Method is an age and developmentally appropriate curriculum that teaches modern dance technique in the form of dances or patterns, rather than repetitive exercises. Their joyous approach encourages individual creativity, develops technique, alignment, self-confidence, discipline and a respect for the artist in each dancer. Check out their website.
