Kick-Off Partnership Event! Sound Stewards: Exploring Life on the Sound

  • Museum Address 100 Playland Parkway Rye, NY, 10580 (map)

Join us at Edith Read Sanctuary on June 25, from 11-12pm for a NEW special workshop, “Exploring Life on the Sound”. Marine Biologists from Sea Grant will take us on an adventure to explore life on the Sound. Participants will watch as biologists enter the LI Sound waters to collect samples and have a chance to discover and learn from what is found. Get ready to explore the shore and learn all about its unique plants, and animals; or maybe even find an organism or two you didn't know about!  For ages 5-8.

*Registration is required* This program is free, but spots are limited.
