Bharatanatyam , a classical Indian dance form and interactive movement workshop.

Liza Joseph, Director of the Natyamudra School of Dance based in Westchester, and a group of her students will perform various pieces from the Bharatanatyam repertory followed by an interactive session inviting the audience to explore some basic movements of this dance style, various hand gestures (mudras), and facial expressions that are unique to Indian classical dance styles.
